From the first time Anna visited a winery, the intersection of art and science has had her interest.  In 2013, Anna left behind a career in Digital Marketing to pursue her interest in wine. As a PNW native, she lived in Seattle while earning her degree in Wine Production at Northwest Wine Academy and WSET Level 3 certification Pass with Merit.  

After vintages with Hogue Cellars (Prosser, WA) and Kim Crawford Winery (Marlborough, NZ), Anna settled in with the amazing team at Sparkman Cellars beginning in 2016. In 2020, she is launching Edgelands in partnership with her husband and the wine club. When she is not working on wine, Anna is often found strolling her garden with chickens or snuggling Scooter the lovable mutt.  

For the last fifteen years, Chris has spent his career working at technology companies big and small. In his current role, Chris serves as a Compliance Consultant at a technology consulting firm in Bellevue, WA. He is responsible for day to day management of the winery and assists Anna with the winemaking. Chris earned his Associate degree in Business from Cascadia College in Bothell, WA. Outside of work he enjoys any activity outdoors; from camping and hiking in the summer to winter snowboarding trips to Mount Baker.
